If a user starts with a free trial and later upgrades to a paid plan, will the affiliate still get credited?

Yes. As long as the user originally came through an affiliate link, the referral is tracked. If they later upgrade to a paid plan — even after a trial — the payment will be attributed to the affiliate (assuming it’s within your program’s set tracking window). No need for them to click the affiliate link again.
